As many have asked, “What are we going to do when the weather changes?” We have decided we are closing for the season on Sunday, September 27th. It’s a decision that’s being made because we simply can’t give you the Spirit Room you’ve become accustomed to. In relation to the current sensitivity of COVID-19, we have this opportunity to take a pause.
We will see what we have, be creative as we always have been, & save our energy to once again bring you Spirit Room for the holidays ( my favorite time of year if you can’t tell ). What does this mean? Lots of things actually! For one, you & your holiday party may be able to rent out our space for events. We have the option to expand downstairs & maybe tum it back to a unique music venue in the area it once was. Maybe we build an ice bar? All I know is, we have something to look forward to during these difficult times. Do know … WE AREN’T GOING ANYWHERE, we are just taking a pause.
I know we have created some fond memories for you, as you have for us as well. We pride ourselves in serving you for the past 6 years in Superior’s Old City Hall, not only saving history, but making more as well. One thing for sure, don’t take away sadness from this post, but as a reminder to pause.
I think we are a good example of how adjusting to the current environment isn’t for all, but we did have have fun this season! Opening at the end of July with our Boozy Ice Cream Social was prefect to numerous nights of events & seeing faces we haven’t seen in a long time. We can’t wait to end the month having more parking lot parties, outdoor cocktails, & enjoying our food creations. Thank you for showing us continuing love & allowing our cocktail to-go orders to become another way to bring SR into your life. Keep your eye out on our social media for more upcoming kit options.
In all, let’s spend the next two weeks, taking in the change of the season. Bring a blanket & have one last moment with us before winter. Watch the sunset on Broadway, treat yourself with a cocktail kit, or come enjoy a Friday parking lot party. We are a COMMUNITY that can come together no matter what. For now, I thank you for recognizing that we are appreciated, important, & worth keeping alive.
